Although I know better...

Although I know better, I committed a time manager's crime; I procrastinated! My professor assigned a paper last Tuesday, due today (Thursday). So, when did I start it? Two days before it was due! Although I will get started right away on chemistry and calculus homework (I know, most people avoid those subjects), I always avoid starting papers. I am a slow writer, so it takes me a LONG time to prepare and actually write a paper. That's why I put it off. Once I start, I know it will take a huge chunk of my time away, so of course, putting it off solves the problem! Even though I finished it and it was decent, I could have started taking my notes a week ago, which would have allowed me to finish it sooner and edit it more. At least I started it when I did so I don't have to stay up all night during my time off for Easter Break!

Library Pays Off

Following my own advice, I have seen the improvements in just a week of how prepared I am for my classes, especially organic chemistry. We're getting into some pretty deep material, so a lot of studying is necessary to understand reactions like:I know that looks like Greek to most people, but after I actually sat down in the library and read the book, did the homework (you know, what a student is supposed to do), I feel good about the chemistry I have learned. We had a test today in organic chemistry. After my first full week of studying in the library, I think I did well!

Hopefully, I will see these results:
